Dr. John Mo – Totori (The Love Song)

God who is love, designed marriage to be sweet and desirous. It is a covenant union of a husband (man) and his wife (woman) that is meant to be enjoyed and romantic. A husband should love his wife, and recognize her as the most beautiful among women (Song of Solomon 1:8). Such a wife would say “Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth! For your love is sweeter than wine (Song of Solomon 1:2). You can’t be too holy to be romantic with your chosen spouse! Beyond being fruitful and multiplying, God wants married couples to be soulmates who feel the love and companionship of marriage, loving and caring for one another. While some may want to shy away from talking about this in the body of Christ, many, like Dr. John Mo, believe it can be sung to tickle our fancy and make marriages sweeter and more desirable.

Over time, Dr. John Mo has been inspired to release a song that would bless, heal and restore many wounded marriages, to the glory of God. Now, in the 20th year of marriage to his wife Anita, he releases “Totori” (tickling sensation from a desired feeling of love) – a love song for married couples, in line with God’s Word.

It is a romantic narration of couples expressing their desires for one another in a love song. The song, which expresses the love in the heart of a husband for his wife, is also a gospel that reminds couples that truly, “He that finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord (Proverbs 18:22)”. Totori reminds couples to constantly depict love for one another in words and actions. You can’t ignore the groove, rhythm, and sensational lyrics of this love song you’d want to hear at wedding ceremonies, marriage anniversaries, etc. The song is complete to provoke couples to renew their marriage vows and get them to dance. Be blessed listening!

Totori was produced by Soji Adesola.
