Pastor Taiwo Adeyinka: From Struggles and Opposition to Film Making and Ministry
Pastor Taiwo Adeyinka is the director of Taiwo’s Prophecy, a new Christian filmmaking brand and ministry.
He was called out to an independent ministry after encountering serious struggles and opposition from the Seventh Day Adventist church in Nigeria.
He tags all the struggles he experienced with the church as due to envy and religious prejudice.
While still in the church, he learnt filmmaking with his teacher and mentor Afeez Adekunle at SIFTI (Smart Image Of Film And Theater Institute). And afterwards, he later left the church to pursue a career in filmmaking.
He asserts that his filmmaking brand is both a film platform and for the ministry.
He claims that his film brand is also ordained to be for the ministry due to the fact that he couldn’t fulfil his call in the church. He had to come out to thrive. The system of the church is apostate and wrong, hence God provided another opportunity for him to fulfil his divine calling.
