On October 1st 2018, s year, Spirit of David Gospel Dance Club and Society for the Performing Arts in Nigeria (SPAN) will be collaborating on stage to communicate the life-changing message of freedom through dances that are unique, professional and anointed with a show titled “What If”.
“WHAT IF” is a story about choice. It is an imaginative and yet true look at where our decisions lead us. The aim is to appreciate the daily power of choice and the quest to live a life in the center of God’s will for us. It is a movement that will inspire Lagos, Nigeria and the world to think through the seemingly mundane choices that often have an impact on our lives!
This isn’t a conversation about regret…merely a true journey into the gravity and impact of our decisions. What happens when we choose?

Since 1999, Spirit of David has upheld the mandate of spreading inspiring messages with timely themes of peace, freedom and new beginnings, every October 1st to commemorate the Independence Day. Popularly known as SOD, the club with a membership strength of over 600 people nationwide has staged 96 shows in 40+ cities around the world.
Society for the Performing Arts in Nigeria (SPAN) is an organization that aims to set a world-class standard for performing arts education in Nigeria, offering unprecedented opportunities in dance, music, theatre and visual arts to Nigeria’s talented citizens. SPAN as a unique institution offers both formal and informal classes in professional theater, music and dance in Nigeria and empowers artists and personnel with art management seminars and classes. It has also provided scholarships to over 600 youths in the performing arts space in several free workshops with several international teachers in different genre of the performing arts.
