Lwazi Khuzwayo signed into LK Music releases a brand new song titled “Jesus I Love You” on digital platforms
Lwazi Khuzwayois a South African Christian/ Gospel Singer, Songwriter, Music Director and a Vocal Coach. He was born in Nkandla,a town In KwaZulu-Natal. “Jesus I love you” was inspired by 2 Corinthians 5:17“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away and the new has come”.He co-wrote the song with his friend Lindokuhle Moloi. The song was birthed afteranintense worship session at Lwazi’s churchwhen his friendZwe Kunenestarted playing a chord progression along with a melody. He only saw Zwe after two months and they both were sohappy to know that Zwe had not forgotten what he was playing on thatdayand the rest is history. Lwazi has since released a music video that has beenon Top 30 hits tracks on Trace Gospel.
Jesus I Love You got nominated for “Best Contemporary Song” at the 2020 SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards. This was a huge honor for Lwazi as this is his only second single.Lwazi hopesto inspire more people to take their relationship with Christ more personal so they can get to a point where they are more comfortable with expressing theirlovefor Him.
