DJ Burn was born and raised in Nigeria, the west side of Africa. Growing up, he was always passionate about music. He’s a longtime fan of hip-hop, mainly artists like 2Pac, Biggie Smalls, LL Cool J, and Big L. “I remember at the age of 9, I was listening to their CD’s and already memorizing their lyrics. By age 14, I started writing my own lyrics and performing my own songs to instrumentals during my high school days.” said, DJ Burn.

When he moved to the United States in February of ’98, he held onto his passion for music and with the intention of completely diving into his music career. Since then, he has been growing on various streaming platforms like YouTube, Spotify, and more.

Listening to his favorite artists gave him inspiration to stay strong and fight for what he believed in. He knows his music will be played for hip-hop fans worldwide and he has the confidence with the“I Know I can” mindset that Nas rapped about.
