David Ezekiel – Nothing You Cannot Do
He hails from Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State, David Ezekiel began his musical journey at an early age, serving in the choir and leading songs during moral instruction in primary school. His professional career took flight in 2011 with his debut album, Victorious Worship, followed by Here Am I in 2016 and singles including Power in Your Name and Beautiful Name in 2019.
Beyond music, David is an author of four books and the founder of Impact Music Network, a UK-based record label, and Youth Alive Foundation, an organisation focused on helping young people rediscover themselves, fulfil their purpose, and walk in their destiny.
The story behind “Nothing You Cannot Do” is deeply connected to David’s personal experience. After losing his wife to kidney failure in 2019, he endured a difficult season marked by grief, depression, and profound emotional pain. His journey through that period ultimately became one of restoration, strengthening his conviction in God’s ability to heal, rebuild, and bring hope out of seemingly impossible circumstances.
That testimony is captured in the song’s central declaration: “There is nothing God cannot do.” For David, these words are not simply a lyrical statement but a confession born from experience. The song speaks to situations that appear broken beyond repair, mountains that seem impossible to move, and seasons when hope feels distant.
“When I say there is nothing God cannot do, I mean it from the depths of my heart. There is no situation He cannot change. No mountain He cannot move. Nothing is too hard for God to handle.”
With “Nothing You Cannot Do,” David Ezekiel turns a personal testimony of survival and restoration into an anthem of confidence in God’s power. The song encourages listeners facing difficult circumstances to keep believing and to remember that their present situation does not place a limit on what God can accomplish.
